Iran boosts petrochemical sector in wake of oil sanctions

Forty years into the Islamic Revolution, Iran has made major advances in many key sectors. Now in line with its bid to reduce its dependence on oil revenues, the country has capitalized on its petrochemical industry which is growing into a viable alternative for oil.
